Recent data from Football Beyond Borders' 2023 highlighted a lack of awareness and involvement among teenage girls in women's football. In anticipation of the Women’s World Cup, Forward Play aims to tackle the lack of opportunities for teenage girls in football and celebrate the achievements of women in football.

I was excited to play my part in Forward Play 2023, which aims to inspire the next generation of girls to take up football through an art exhibition held at Colours May Vary. Along with 32 other artists, I was asked to donate a piece of artwork. My piece featured the trailblazing footballer, Beverly Ranger.

All profits from the exhibition were donated to Football Beyond Borders to help them raise £100,000 in 100 days before the World Cup, ensuring a generation of teenage girls isn't left behind.
